According to data from Sports Value, Brazilian clubs earn almost R$ 6 billion per year. ( US$ 1,5 billion)

Over the past 16 years market leadership has changed a lot in terms of revenue.

For a long time, Sao Paulo and International led the Brazilian market. Corinthians has increased a lot since 2009, leading for a few years.

More recently there has been rapid growth of Palmeiras which led the market in 2018.

But the biggest rise in revenue was Flamengo, which since 2014 reached the top of the ranking and was not the largest revenue in Brazil in 2018.

In 2019 Flamengo will earn more than R$ 830 million (US$ 197 million) and will lead the Brazilian market with slack.
