Brazil is the 5th largest media and entertainment market among the most important leagues in world football. But only the 14th in commercial revenues.

Brazil without a Professional League has seen its main competition, Serie A, always undervalued, without global appeal and economic strength in the face of the most organized and more attractive market.

 

The Brazilian market is also dependent of the National Confederation bad decisions ( E.g. Calendar) for decades.

Flamengo a giant among the giants

Flamengo although it does not have the same global coverage level, much by the weakness of Brazilian market, is much stronger in digital than many European giants.
