Brazilian football clubs finances in 2018

Sports Value has just completed its annual review of the finances of Brazilian clubs. The company has the longest historical series on the market.

The revenues generated by the Brazilian professional football market was R$ 6,5 billion in 2018. In this figure are the clubs, CBF and State Federations.

The top 20 in revenue generated R$ 5,3 billion in 2018, up just over 2%. The clubs are financing a significant portion of their operation with player transfers, which have grown 70% in the last two years.
